It’s Monday Again!

I want to first use this opportunity to thank you all for the love, greetings and prayers showered on my wife and I on our 9th wedding anniversary last week Thursday, I was completely overwhelmed. Thank You So Much.

Today I want to give you some tips on email marketing/ Newsletter. Email marketing is one of the best ways you can be able to measure your online promotions.

It gives you access to a specific set of people who are actually interested in your product(s)/ Service(s)

However you will need your own personalized mailing list to be able to do your email campaigns effectively.

You can get this done by creating a newsletter opt-in on your website and direct traffic to it through all your social media activities, however you will need to create an electronic product that you will give to those who agree to opt-in to your list.

The product is usually in the form of a video, e-book or audio (Podcast).

Your aim is to get their email addresses, but you need to give them something very useful in order to get this from them.

Once your list has been created, you can either send your newsletters through your website or use one of the service providers who offers such service. MailChimp, TargetHero, Madmimi, Aweber, Listwire are just a few of them.

Now to have a successful email campaign you need to follow the 80/20 rule.

Send useful information or free products to those on your mailing list 80% of the time and don’t sell to them more than 20% of the time you have contact with them.
