It’s Monday Again!

This is a very crucial period in the history of our dear country Nigeria. We went to the polls during the weekend and I must confess that I am impressed in the manner at which we conducted ourselves at the various polling units, the turn outs were also impressive.

Now, we need to conduct ourselves in a more matured manner as the results begin to come in and when INEC finally announces the winner later this evening, irrespective of who wins we should be peaceful and accept the results in good faith.

I want to remind us that we are first Nigerians before we belong to any political party or before we support any candidate.

A few things that this election has changed about Nigeria and the way we are being governed.

1. Nigerians are now more aware of the happenings around them.

2. Voters are now important to politicians

3. No longer will any government take the people for granted

4. Governance will never remain the same again.

No matter who wins this election, it is obvious that Nigerians are the real winners, because the next four years will never be like the previous years again.

As we await the final results I want to remind you that except Buhari or Jonathan will lead with their wives and children, Tinubu, Fayose, Fashola, Ajimobi, Abati, Okupe, Obanikoro, Agbaje, Mimiko, Atiku, Obi and co will follow them closely with their wives and children too, don’t engage in violence. No politician is worth dying for

PEACE WITHING OUR NATION

Vote Wisely

Category : Uncategorized

It’s Monday Again!

We have entered the Nigeria’s national election week so I will be talking about election this morning.

It will be non-patriotic of me not to talk about it.

It is your civic right as a Nigerian to vote.

If you were able to obtain your PVC you should make sure you do the following

1. Keep your PVC safe
2. Don’t sell your vote
3. Vote based on your values
4. Don’t be blinded by propaganda
5. Don’t be deceived by unconfirmed allegations, do your research by yourself (Google and Wikipedia are there for your use)
6. Remember that your vote counts
7. The FUTURE of Nigeria depends on your VOTE
8. Today’s decision can SHAPE tomorrow
9. Don’t vote for selfish reasons
10. RIGHT choices produce the RIGHT leaders
11. Be security conscious
12. Don’t be a part of VIOLENCE

YOU HAVE 4 FULL DAYS TO DECIDE THE PRESIDENT YOU WANT AND 4 GOOD YEARS TO ENJOY OR ENDURE THE CONSEQUENCE OF YOUR CHOICE.

The future of Nigeria lies in our hands today.

VOTE WITH THE FUTURE OF YOUR CHILDREN AND YOUR UNBORN GENERATION IN MIND.

INSANITY IS DOING THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND EXPECTING A DIFFERENT RESULT. -ALBERT EINSTEIN

Please note that if you have a PVC and you refuse to vote it is a SIN.

James 4:17 Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin. (NKJV)

It’s a blessed week

Opportunities everywhere!

Category : Uncategorized

It’s Monday Again!

Welcome to this brand new week full of opportunities.

I have not sent a BC since the 12th of January; though I promised to do a few social media related BCs.

I had to stay off BBM for a while but the series had been going on via facebook, twitter and my blog at http://blog.sparkconect.com if you want to see all the series from 19th of January till date you may visithttp://blog.sparkconect.com, there are important social media lessons to learn from the series.

I want you to know that there are lots of opportunities out there especially for those of us in Nigeria, all you need to do is see beyond the obvious, look at everyday situations from a solution providers perspective, you will be amazed at how much life is willing to reward you for solving everyday problems for people. Let me give you some examples.

1. A lady Linda Ikeji saw the need for people to be able to read about Celebrities, Politicians and general Gossip (because majority of the people prefer to gossip than to be in the news) so she started a blog and became famous and financially rewarded.

2. Someone saw the need to help people in Lagos escape traffic jams and started a twitter handle that helps people report traffic situations all over Lagos and now Nigeria. He started @GIDI_Traffic and today HE/SHE is handsomely rewarded and has been endorsed by NOKIA

3. A guy saw the need to talk about politics from the perspective of the common man on the street and started a blog and also use his twitter handle to promote what he believes in and today he is been invited to speak at different political fora all over the world and he is well paid for it. He is @omojuwa and founder of www.omojuwa.com

The list is endless.

Open your eyes as you go about your business this week, there is a problem waiting for you to solve. It is your opportunity for relevance.
Succeed!

Goals

Category : Uncategorized

goal-setting-in-action

It’s Monday Again!

So we have entered into the month of March, it is obvious that this year is moving very fast.

How far have you gone with your goals for the first quarter of 2015?

What are those things you intend to do in the first 90 days of 2015 that you have not been able to do till now?

Do you know that you still have enough time to get those things done before the end of the first quarter?

The best time to start doing those things required to get your desired result was 1st of January, the next best time is right now.

If you refuse to take steps now, you will obviously be in this same state by the end of the month, but if you start taking steps now, you might end up at the point where your goals for the first quarter of 2015 are achieved by the end of this month.

The differences between where you are and where you intend to be are :
1. The Choices you make
2. Time

Since there is still enough time to get to the point you desire, you should begin to make those choices that will eventually make you end up at your desired destination by the end of this quarter.

Your choices of yesterday brought you to where you are today; your choices of today will determine where you will find yourself tomorrow.

Succeed!
